Beautiful

I wish I could easily access my roof and get a better picture of this, if only. It was actually a double rainbow but was kind of hard to catch on the camera.

It goes to someone out there who knows who she is :) :) :) From me and my girls :)

I know I haven't been blogging much lately, but in no way does that mean I have stopped doing things for my baby girls. In fact I have been spending most of my time in the garden and staring at their tree, taking various pictures (couple hundred!). Below, we recently planted three new flowering perennials that are in the row closest to the grass.

We also had to plant something in the place of the azalea, as it did not make it through the winter unfortunately. It was a beautiful pink and white one that I have many pics of from last year. The new plant is a pink heather and it fits the area perfectly and will not take over the garden.

Here is another tree pic below. I love taking pictures of the tree from this perspective (my favorite perspective) looking up to Heaven. I even sometimes see shapes in the clouds, like an angel wing in this one.

And with the sun beaming through...

The tree still has pink blooms hanging on, but they have mostly been replaced with lots of bright green leaves and its so full and beautiful. The pink blooms are now making 'snow' on the ground. This garden was the perfect thing for me to honor my angels and spend time out there feeling the closest to them I can possibly get in that moment. I have lots of moments and places, but the garden is really helpful to stay positive and smile.

Do you have anything you like to do that reminds you the most of your angel(s) and makes you feel some presence and smile? I would love to hear it.

Sending out hugs xxx
Love, Nan

  2. I love when I see a rainbow. I always have a hard time trying to capture it on camera though. I love seeing your girls tree. I love staring at my babies oak tree and watching it bloom and the leaves change color.

  3. Love it and grat pics! When I had my 20 week u/s with the boys I saw a rainbow... I loved it- and now when I see rainbows, I always think of that day- and of course the promise of the rainbow and knowing my babe is safe beyond it... waiting for me!
    Hugs to you friend!

  4. I love your garden <3 I've started my own for Mackenzie. She already had a tree in the front yard, but I wanted more space that was private where I could put a million ladybug things & not be seen as a psycho by the neighbors.

  5. Nan...... I had a facial clay mask on when I decided to sit down and do a little blogging. Bad Idea! lol You should have some kind of rainbow warning before I come and visit..... Warning, take off all facials before reading.... may cause serious tears! lol Yup, it did! I always have a rainbow sent my way, when I am really feeling sad. Thank you Nan. You're the sweetest:)

I love your garden! The flowers on the tree are captured so beautifully! You even have your own angel wing in the background. How cool is that!? Looks like you really have been working hard.

  9. Sweetest Toe Twin,

The "Twin" Rainbow is beyond beautiful...reminds me of our friendship. Two Girls finding their way and tying eachothers knots as we go :) x0x x0x x0x

I feel the most comfort in remembering Christian when I gaze at the twinkle of stars on a clear night. I feel peace in a warm day when sun shines on my face and a gentle breeze is at my back. When I hear the birds sing or a flower is bursting with bloom.

The girl's garden is simply beautiful, just like their Mommy and I'm glad you find peace there, as we all need a place to call our own. I'm just bummed the harsh winter played havoc on the azalea, but so happy you found the "perfect" pink heather :) And, their tree...AMAZING!

Much Love dear friend...what would I do without you?

    Mwah!

I'm not sure if there is anything specific but whatever I may be doing for them makes me feel good.
